A living memory for every AI you use.

Three fields and you get one private link. Paste it into claude.ai or ChatGPT, and what one session learns, the next one knows, whichever AI you were in. Answers cite your own knowledge objects (KOs) back to you. No install.

Before you decide

How we handle your data

We keep the knowledge objects (KOs) extracted from your work and your chats with Sapience, not the transcripts of your AI sessions, and do not train on your data.

Keep your private link secret; you can also sign in with Google or with a link we email you. Your KOs remain until you delete them.

Your KOs are stored on an encrypted disk on our servers, and we hold the server encryption key.

The installer offers extraction through our servers, through your own model provider, or locally with Ollama. Approved KOs sync to your hosted account.

Your knowledge objects are extracted by a model served through OpenRouter (Z.AI, Singapore) with zero data retention and no training on your data. If that model fails, Claude Sonnet 5.5 on Anthropic extracts them instead.

We hold the server encryption key and are working to prevent us from reading your data.

Where your data goes

What leaves your machine: with the connector, the notes your AI saves, the questions it asks and the documents you add; with the terminal install and extraction through our servers, the session text you select, which we process and do not keep (with your own model provider it goes to that provider, and with Ollama it stays on your machine). What stays: your transcripts and files, where they are. What you can delete: any note, any source or the whole Sapience, from the app.

Sapience is in private beta; a code from someone already on it opens the door. No code yet? Ask for an invite.

The terminal install imports selected local session history and keeps syncing. It takes about ten minutes on a Mac with Python 3.

It reads only the projects you tick at install, and every new KO waits for your review until you switch a project to automatic.

Papers and notes go in too. sapience adddir ~/papers adds a directory of .tex, .pdf, .md, .html and .txt files, and a re-run sends only what changed.

bash <(curl -sL 'https://papers.spnc.ai/install-local')

It prints your private token at the end. That token also works as a connector for claude.ai: https://papers.spnc.ai/mcp/<your-token>.

The terminal install extracts KOs from selected sessions. The connector saves KOs only when the AI calls the save tool; it does not read chats automatically.
