How the files arrive
The class and style files state no licence we could redistribute under, so they are not kept by Papers: when you start a paper, they are fetched from the official source above and checked against the version we tested. If the publisher has updated them since, the paper says so.
A&A's site refuses programs and EDP's download server was down when we built this, so the class usually comes from the Internet Archive's 2023 copy of EDP's package (aa.cls v9.1); the paper's TEMPLATE.txt names the source that served it. A&A's current package is 9.4 (March 2026): for it, use the official A&A template on Overleaf.
