What it is
- Class
- article + acl.sty
- Version tested
- acl.sty from the pinned commit
- Licence of the class
- No licence stated in acl.sty or its repository: not redistributed by us
- Licence of our starter
- CC0-1.0 (written by Sapience from the class documentation; use it freely)
- Official source
- github.com/acl-org/acl-style-files
How the files arrive
The class and style files state no licence we could redistribute under, so they are not kept by Papers: when you start a paper, they are fetched from the official source above and checked against the version we tested. If the publisher has updated them since, the paper says so.
acl.sty and acl_natbib.bst are fetched from the official ACL style files on GitHub when you start (pinned commit). Switch [review] to [final] for the camera-ready.
Format
Two columns; [review] adds line numbers and hides the authors
The venue's own instructions are the rule: github.com/acl-org/acl-style-files.
